By the time summer solstice came around in 2025 a younger family member asked me what's the big deal behind summer solstice, aside from it being the longest day - like what's going on?   

I thought that was a great question, and while I pretty much knew the answer, I began looking for a picture to explain the mechanics unfolding behind the scenes - from summer to winter solstice.

In the process I realized how much of life and money could be better explained if we could see things from a very big perspective - like REALLY BIG.
